Quality, Health, Safety and Environment: that is what GN stands for.

GN’s four cornerstones are quality, employee health, safety at work and environmental awareness. This dedicated focus benefits our customers, employees, suppliers, shareholders and the society in which we live and work.

To meet with the QHSE requirements, GN’s new factory has been built with the objective of guaranteeing a safe and environmentally friendly working environment. Our business management system has been specially developed to be in line with our business operations. For example, all of the residual heat released during the production process is used to heat our premises. In addition, the air conditioning system has been so designed to prevent any warm air from being diverted unnecessarily outdoors. Our lighting has been automatically coordinated to the amount of daylight that we receive. Furthermore, all waste flows are being restricted and waste water is discharged separately. Moreover, a lake has been created to compensate for the filled-in ditches and built-over land surface. In summary, GN is minimising its impact on the environment by reducing its harmful discharges, thereby reducing the use of natural resources and emissions.

GN asks its employees and suppliers to adopt an active stance and sense of accountability in terms of QHSE. GN’s management serves as a model for conveying and implementing matters relating to QHSE. Management has compiled an emergency plan which explains how to respond in the event of an emergency situation, crisis or commercial disruption and how to rectify that situation. They should also ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the QHSE requirements and objectives. Operating results will be calculated and evaluated at regular intervals in order to meet these objectives. Based on these results, GN will be continually improving its operational processes, services and product quality.

Policy will be under regular review to ensure that it meets with changing QHSE requirements. The commitments as described above supplement our standard obligations and all of the relevant legislation and regulations with which we are expected to be compliant within the markets in which we are active. We consider this to be an essential precondition to our success, because it helps us with the systematic elimination of all waste and unnecessary expenditure while adding value for our shareholders. GN’s goal at all times is to implement all aspects of QHSE within the policy for and design of our products and services.
